NASA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, in collaboration with the Mission to Planet Earth and Space Sciences Enterprises, is seeking high-tech small businesses, including disadvantaged and women-owned firms, to participate in complex technical projects supporting their programs. The initiative encourages participation from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Other Minority Institutions (OMIs). Selected firms will be showcased as potential contractors or subcontractors to NASA's Lead Centers: Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) in Maryland and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in California. The semi-annual Science Forum serves as a strategic platform where senior NASA officials and prime contractors can engage directly with these small businesses, offering valuable exposure and fostering subcontracting, teaming, or mentoring opportunities in high-priority technical areas such as spacecraft hardware, sensors, remote sensing, communications, systems engineering, lasers, IT, and Earth and space science research. Interested firms are invited to submit a concise statement of corporate capabilities, addressing the targeted technology areas, with a maximum length of ten pages. Four to five firms will be selected to present at the Forum, which takes place twice yearly and is alternately hosted by GSFC and JPL. The next event is scheduled for July 25, 2002, at GSFC, with submission deadlines set for June 7, 2002. Selected participants will be notified within 30 days. Submissions and inquiries can be directed to NASA contacts at GSFC and JPL, providing a unique opportunity for small businesses to connect with key NASA personnel involved in management, technical operations, and procurement.

In partnership with the NASA's Mission to Planet Earth and Space Sciences Enterprises, the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization seeks to identify High-Tech Small, Disadvantaged, and Women-owned Small Businesses capable of participating in NASA's most complex High-Tech work in designated technical areas that directly relate or support the Enterprises program and mission. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU's) and Other Minority Institutions (OMI's) are encouraged to participate. These firms will be highlighted as future contractors and subcontractors to the Enterprises Lead Centers - Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, MD, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, CA, respectively. The Semi-Annual Science Forum will serve as a platform for senior agency officials to become aware of the presence of these firms in critical technical areas. In addition, it will serve as an opportunity for top prime contractors to consider these firms for subcontracting, teaming, or mentoring opportunities. Essentially, these Forums create a "rare high-level marketing opportunity" for small firms. It puts them in front of key management, technical, and procurement personnel described as "hard to get to". The Forum is held twice annually. It is hosted once a year by the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Lead Center for Mission to Planet Earth and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Lead Center for Space Science. Advanced Technologies in Targeted Areas: Spacecraft hardware, Sensors, Instrument Technology, Earth Observing Satellite (EOS) Technology, Remote Sensing, Space and Ground Communications, Electrical, Mechanical and Systems Engineering, Lasers, Data and Information Technology, Telecommunications, Earth and Space Science Research How to apply: All small firms interested in participating in the Forums should submit a brief statement of corporate capabilities that SPECIFICALLY address the targeted areas. Four to five firms will be selected. There is no special format; however, it should contain no more than ten pages total. Please be sure to include a contact name, address, phone, fax, and email address. The next Forum will be hosted by GSFC on Thursday July 25, 2002, between 1:00-3:30 p.m. The deadline for submission of corporate capabilities is FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2002. Firms selected to make presentations will be notified within 30 days. Please forward corporate capabilities to: Ms. Olivia T. Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under the Space Technology Development Program (STDP) to develop and advance one to three priority technologies intended to reduce technical uncertainties for future Canadian space missions. This fixed-price procurement focuses on increasing Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) in accordance with CSA-ST-GDL-0001 Revision A guidelines. The identified priority technologies include a lightweight athermal reflecting telescope for CubeSats, readout electronics for large mosaic focal plane arrays, and technologies for the Ground Snow Mass Mission, with maximum funding per contract ranging from 1 million to 2 million Canadian dollars. The project is expected to span 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a kick-off meeting, preliminary design review, detailed design review and work authorization meeting, test readiness review, and a final review meeting. Selection is based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60%) and price (40%), with additional points available for Indigenous considerations. The contract requires strict adherence to security protocols, including Protected B and Reliability Status, and mandates the use of the Information Sharing with External Partners portal for sensitive data transfers. Performance is subject to rigorous inspection and acceptance processes for both hardware and software, including a 90-day warranty period for custom software.

Expression of interest: Small-satellite missions sandpit
Solicitation # 206083
UK Research and Innovation is seeking expressions of interest for a small-satellite missions sandpit designed to bring together approximately 30 researchers and innovators from diverse disciplines. The goal is to co-develop ambitious, challenge-led small-satellite mission concepts focusing on innovative sensors, data streams, and cross-sector enabling technologies to enhance sovereign capability, address national security and societal challenges, and support economic growth. The activity consists of six sessions held between January 26 and February 11, 2027, utilizing a combination of online sessions and a two-day residential event. Total program funding is listed at 1,870,000, with the objective of developing concepts for pump-priming research grants in 2027/2028. Selection of participants is based on core assessment questions focusing on skills and potential contributions rather than track record, with additional consideration given to geographic diversity across all UK regions. Applicants must apply through an Expression of Interest stage, and invited applicants will use the Resume for Research and Innovation format. Mandatory attendance at all sessions is required, with travel and subsistence costs reimbursed and accommodation provided for overnight stays. The program is managed by the UKRI Space Programme team, with the response deadline for the solicitation set for November 25, 2026.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.
