The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting feedback on a draft Screening Information Request for design and writing services related to the Performance Accountability Report and Citizen's Report. This announcement is for informational purposes to assist the agency in preparing the final request and is not a request for proposals. Interested vendors are encouraged to submit questions, comments, or suggestions to Contract Specialist Jared Tritle via email. Separately, the City of High Shoals, North Carolina, is seeking professional engineering services for the Water System Phase 2 CDBG-I project, funded by a 1,703,309 dollar award. The scope of work includes developing a final engineering report, creating design and bid packages, and providing construction inspection for the installation of approximately 2,950 linear feet of 12-inch water lines on River Street. This is a qualifications-based selection process where the most qualified firm will be selected based on a 100-point scale evaluating firm reputation, capacity, workload, CDBG experience, and previous work for the city, with costs negotiated after selection. Selected personnel for the engineering project must attend mandatory federal regulatory and environmental review training in Raleigh, North Carolina. The project requires strict adherence to the Fair Housing Act, Section 3 employment provisions, and the Davis-Bacon Act. Deliverables include approved engineering reports, as-built drawings, and updated asset management plans. Proposals for these services must be submitted to High Shoals City Hall by July 9, 2024, at 10:00 AM.
