This synopsis has been amended to make this procurement a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS: 238390 SIZE STANDARD: $12.0M. The General Services Administration (GSA) Federal Supply Service has a requirement for the GSA Global Supply Store Warehouse at Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, AK for a Turnkey system of the following: static shelving, bin picking shelf carts, and order picker shelf carts. In addition, the contractor shall be responsible for dismantling existing flow rack sections and stacking sections on pallets; disconnecting and dismantling a tri-width conveyor and stacking sections on pallets; and repositioning an existing pallet rack. The purpose of this requirement is to increase the operational efficiency through the reconfiguration of equipment in the warehouse. Contractor to provide all requisite services, equipment cost, installation services, and any required training. The Government foresees a firm fixed price supply type contract which will be evaluated on Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror. The procedures of FAR PART 12, Commercial Acquisition will be utilized. The applicable NAICS Code is 238390. Required completion date of this requirement is 8 weeks after contract award. Material will be shipped to GSA Global Supply Store Alaska 5252 Gibson Ave, Bay 4, Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage, AK 99506. When issued, the RFQ will be posted as a link on this site. It is anticipated that the RFQ, will be issued on or about 22 April 2005, with offers due on or about 6 May 2005. All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or other unzipping software is required) and to frequently monitor this site for any amendments to the RFQ. An email request to contact@example.gov or contact@example.gov will be accepted only in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from this website.
