Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE: USACE-CEMVN has a requirement for law enforcement services of St. Martin Parish to ensure public safety within the lands and waters of the Corps of Engineers' Public Access feature of the Mississippi River and Tributaries, Atchafalaya Basin Floodway System, Louisiana. The Government intends to issue sole source award to the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Department. The statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition for this action is cited in FAR 6.302-1, when there is a supply or service available only from one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy the agency's needs. This requirement will be awarded on a sole source basis with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Department, 400 Saint Martin St, Saint Martinville, LA 70582-4534, Cage Code 4LG81. Solicitation number W912P8-11-T-0111 will be released O/A 22 September 2011, closing date O/A 26 September 2011, 0800 hours. The annotated closing date for this solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the solicitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated date.
