This contract, solicitation number W912K307T0056, requires a contractor to provide and install audiovisual equipment for three classrooms at Building 951 of the Yakima Training Center in Washington. The scope of work includes the provision and mounting of three projectors using universal ceiling mount systems, though it is noted that two classrooms already have projectors. For the new installation, the contractor must provide plenum-rated cabling for computer, composite video, and stereo audio, connecting to a wall plate with VGA, PC audio, composite video, and line-level audio inputs. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for providing and installing two CA-5 speakers powered by an audio amplifier to ensure students can hear presentations, with volume controlled via projector remote. The project is designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. While the original description mentioned manual pull-down screens, subsequent clarifications specify that screens are already in place. The contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary low voltage permits and must provide proof of certification and licensing from the State of Washington upon completion. The installation will take place in existing classrooms with drop ceilings and existing ceiling electrical outlets.
