The Veterans Health Administration seeks to procure two mobile forward office space vehicles designed to provide additional, immediately deployable office facilities for senior leadership during incidents and events. These units address operational challenges experienced during the 2020 hurricane season, where damage to outpatient clinics impaired leadership's ability to manage emergency responses effectively. Each vehicle must be self-contained and equipped for year-round operation in extreme climates, featuring integrated generators, heating and cooling systems, refrigerators, microwaves, and advanced communications capabilities, including satellite and HD TV antennas, public address systems, and multiple connectivity outlets. The vehicles will adhere to specified size and weight limitations, not requiring a commercial driver's license, and must be built on a diesel engine chassis with automatic transmission. Safety, accessibility, and durability are emphasized with features such as an ADA-approved wheelchair lift, smoke and CO2 detectors, fire extinguishers, and a robust interlock alarm system. The interior includes private office spaces for confidential discussions, conference areas with removable furniture, storage solutions, and advanced electronic racks supporting multimedia and communications equipment. Exterior components include electric awnings, multiple camera systems, emergency lighting, and branded Veterans Affairs decals. Upon completion, the vehicles are to be delivered to Martinsburg, WV, with full warranty documentation and comprehensive user manuals provided.
