Full Description

This is a notice of intent by the Naval Air Systems Command, Air Combat Electronic Program Office (PMA-209) to issue an order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0024 with Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), 400 Collins Road NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52498. The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is assigned responsibility for the planning, programming, budgeting, procurement, installation, operation, and support of the Air Combat Electronics programs. This effort covers the requirements to provide the A-10 a robust Beyond Line-of-Sight (BLOS) secure communications system to fully integrate with composite combat forces. The contractor shall design, fabricate, and deliver a quantity of two (2) each A-10 BLOS A-Kit without Antenna P/H 987-8632-001, A-10 BLOS B-Kit without High Power Amplifier (HPA) P/N: 987-8632-002, AV 2075-8-84 Antenna P/N: 013-2004-010, and TC-100LR HPA P/N: 270-2977-010. As Rockwell Collins is the sole developer of the ARC-210 Family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintain the proprietary rights to this radio, they are the only capable source of the integration of these kits with the configuration required for the Validation and Verification Testing in accordance with the current drawings and specifications for the Part Numbers provided. Effort will be performed within sixty (60 days ARO. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.
