THIS PROPOSED CONTRACT WILL BUILD UPON THE WORK GDLS HAS DONE TO REMOVE WEIGHT FROM THE LIGHT ARMORED VEHICLE (LAV-25) WHICH GDLS IS THE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER (OEM). GDLS SHALL PROVIDE GENERAL ENGINEERING SUPPORT, VEHICLE STUDIES AS REQUIRED BY INDIVIDUAL WORK DIRECTIVES (WD), EVALUATE CURRENT AND PROPOSED MANUFACTURING PROCESS, PREPARE FIELD TEST PLANS AND PROVIDE FIELD TESTING SUPPORT.
