Full Description

This is a notice of intent from the Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR) to issue a Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) order on an other than full and open competition basis, under an existing Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0009 with Northrop Grumman Corporation, San Diego, CA to provide integration services for the Vertical Take-off Unmanned Air Vehicle (VTUAV). This effort will support the development and demonstration of the capability to employ a lightweight anti-submarine weapon system. The Compact Rapid Attack Weapon (CRAW) system will provide the VTUAV with the capability to rapidly detect, localize and engage a submarine in the littorals. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the VTUAV and the only firm that possesses the required knowledge, work force, skilled artisans, special tooling and technical data to perform this effort.
