The National Institute of Aging (NIA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), has a requirement to perform household listings, recruit a representative sample of African Americans and Whites aged 30-64 from Baltimore City, Maryland, and conduct initial household interviews for the Healthy Aging in Neighborhoods of Diversity across the Life Span (HANDLS) study. The Contractor shall be required to review census tracts in Baltimore, Maryland and select sample blocks to record residential dwellings within the blocks, creating household listings. This requirement shall also involve recruiting participants and conducting household interviews. The Contractor should have experience in longitudinal studies, working with census tracts, survey methodologies, cross-cultural communications, participant recruitment and retention, participant interviews, and study design outcome analysis.
