The Defense Contracting Command - Washington, representing the Office of the Chief of Chaplains, plans to award a sole source purchase order to Ohio State University for a twelve-month period. The purpose of this contract is to validate the effectiveness of the Pre-Marital Soldier Interpersonal Choice program, designed to enhance existing well-being initiatives by specifically addressing relationship stability among single soldiers. The program aims to identify key factors that predict relationship satisfaction, assess how attachment development influences decision-making, and create a straightforward model for examining relationship choices. The contractor will also evaluate the program’s suitability for Army single soldiers, provide training at three research sites, and deliver monthly updates along with a final evaluation report. This effort seeks to position the program for potential Army-wide implementation, ensuring that relationship stability issues among unmarried soldiers are effectively addressed. The Government is not soliciting competitive proposals as part of this notice of intent but will consider any quotes received within 10 days of publication.
