Enabling Technology for Future Missions
Solicitation # 9F063-20260085
The Canadian Space Agency (CSA) is soliciting proposals under the Space Technology Development Program (STDP) to develop and advance one to three priority technologies intended to reduce technical uncertainties for future Canadian space missions. This fixed-price procurement focuses on increasing Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) in accordance with CSA-ST-GDL-0001 Revision A guidelines. The identified priority technologies include a lightweight athermal reflecting telescope for CubeSats, readout electronics for large mosaic focal plane arrays, and technologies for the Ground Snow Mass Mission, with maximum funding per contract ranging from 1 million to 2 million Canadian dollars. The project is expected to span 16 months, structured around five key milestones: a kick-off meeting, preliminary design review, detailed design review and work authorization meeting, test readiness review, and a final review meeting. Selection is based on the highest combined rating of technical merit (60%) and price (40%), with additional points available for Indigenous considerations. The contract requires strict adherence to security protocols, including Protected B and Reliability Status, and mandates the use of the Information Sharing with External Partners portal for sensitive data transfers. Performance is subject to rigorous inspection and acceptance processes for both hardware and software, including a 90-day warranty period for custom software.

Expression of interest: Small-satellite missions sandpit
Solicitation # 206083
UK Research and Innovation is seeking expressions of interest for a small-satellite missions sandpit designed to bring together approximately 30 researchers and innovators from diverse disciplines. The goal is to co-develop ambitious, challenge-led small-satellite mission concepts focusing on innovative sensors, data streams, and cross-sector enabling technologies to enhance sovereign capability, address national security and societal challenges, and support economic growth. The activity consists of six sessions held between January 26 and February 11, 2027, utilizing a combination of online sessions and a two-day residential event. Total program funding is listed at 1,870,000, with the objective of developing concepts for pump-priming research grants in 2027/2028. Selection of participants is based on core assessment questions focusing on skills and potential contributions rather than track record, with additional consideration given to geographic diversity across all UK regions. Applicants must apply through an Expression of Interest stage, and invited applicants will use the Resume for Research and Innovation format. Mandatory attendance at all sessions is required, with travel and subsistence costs reimbursed and accommodation provided for overnight stays. The program is managed by the UKRI Space Programme team, with the response deadline for the solicitation set for November 25, 2026.

Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.

B.7 The Heliophysics Low-Cost Access to Space
Solicitation # NNH25ZDA001N-LCAS
The Heliophysics Low-Cost Access to Space (H-LCAS) program, solicitation NNH25ZDA001N-LCAS, is a research opportunity managed by the NASA Science Mission Directorate. The program supports the development and maturation of innovative instruments, technologies, and flight investigations using sounding rockets, high-altitude balloons, CubeSats, or airborne platforms. Projects are categorized as either science or science-enabling and are evaluated based on their scientific and technical merit, relevance to the 2024-2033 Heliophysics Decadal Survey or NASA strategic objectives, and cost reasonableness. Awards typically have a duration of three years, with a maximum of four years available upon justification, and are expected to start approximately six months after the proposal due date. Eligible organizations of all types may propose, though participation by the People's Republic of China is prohibited and non-U.S. organizations may participate on a no exchange of funds basis. Applicants must be registered in SAM.gov and provide a Unique Entity Identifier. Proposals must be submitted electronically via NSPIRES by an Authorized Organizational Representative and include a 20-page Science-Technical-Management section, a 4,000-character summary, and required non-anonymized attachments including a total budget, a Payload Reference Document, and an Expertise and Resources appendix. NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC) seeks to acquire specialized services from ITT Industries Space Systems Division to support the development of instrument concepts for the Active Sensing of CO2 over Nights, Days, and Seasons (ASCENDS) mission. ITT has been the sole source provider over the past three years, possessing proprietary technology crucial to the accurate measurement of atmospheric CO2. This contract aims to extend ITT's capabilities through a series of airborne field experiments involving the development and enhancement of measurement technology, algorithms for CO2 retrieval, numerical models, and comprehensive data analysis from various platforms including satellites, aircraft, balloons, and ground instruments. The scope encompasses a wide range of tasks including algorithm development and validation, operational support for instruments during ASCENDS missions, logistical and ground support, and engineering advancements in sensor design and technology to fulfill mission objectives. The contract does not intend to acquire commercial items under FAR Part 12, with NASA reserving the discretion to conduct this procurement competitively or not, based on responses to the solicitation. Interested parties were invited to submit qualifications by October 25, 2008, for evaluation, with strict requirements on submission format and contact points provided for inquiries and oversight.
