The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command, through the Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate, proposes a non-competitive Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with the University of Missouri. This partnership focuses on the continuing engineering development, design, testing, and hardware and software analysis of several mine detection systems, specifically the Ground Standoff Minefield Detection System, the Handheld Standoff Mine Detection System, and the Humanitarian Demining version of the handheld system. The scope of work involves reviewing engineering concepts and software designs for Ground Penetrating Radar subsystems to improve algorithm design. The primary objectives are to increase the probability of mine detection and decrease false alarm rates across the sensors, signal processors, and marking capabilities of these systems. Interested parties must submit responses of five pages or less via email within 45 calendar days of the notice.
