A--Study Coordinating Center for Lung Health Cohort

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health is seeking a Study Coordinating Center (SCC) to manage the Lung Health Cohort study. This longitudinal research project aims to enroll 4,000 community-dwelling adults aged 25 to 35 across 17 metropolitan regions in the United States to investigate lung health and the progression of diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The SCC will be responsible for managing study personnel, coordinating five-year follow-up exams and remote data collection, and maintaining a biospecimen repository with backup power systems to prevent degradation. The contractor must ensure compliance with NIH Public Access and NHLBI Data Management and Sharing policies, while coordinating with a single Institutional Review Board and an Observational Study Monitoring Board for reporting adverse events and study progress.
