The contract modification involves continuing and expanding support services provided by Science, Engineering, and Technology Associates (SET) to the Information Exploitation Office (IXO) of DARPA under the existing contract N00174-03-D-0013. SET’s role centers on sustaining expertise in three key areas: Information Exploitation, Information Dissemination, and Information Management. Their support encompasses comprehensive systems engineering activities including modeling and analysis, technology assessment, system design, integration, prototyping, evaluation, demonstration, documentation, training, and program management for both legacy and emerging DARPA information technologies. SET’s proprietary engineering and integration methodology is tailored specifically to high-risk, advanced technology information system projects. This modification primarily serves to increase the contract ceiling, allowing for the continuation and potential expansion of these critical R&D support services. The contract is managed by the Navy Sea Systems Command’s Indian Head Division, and the designated point of contact for this action is Donna M. Chaney. The contract ensures ongoing support that leverages SET’s deep involvement with major DARPA Information Systems programs to facilitate the successful development and deployment of innovative information technologies within the Department of Defense.
