The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a contract for approximately 1,500,000 man-hours of engineering and technical design services in support of Research and Development (R&D) of advanced submarine technologies for current and future submarine platforms projects. The contemplated contract will also contain an ordering provision for material, prototype hardware, and minor R&D projects. This contract is to provide this effort over a period of five years (one-year base period and two twenty-four month options).
