Full Description

In support of a Defense Advance Research Projects Agency (DARPA) research and development effort, DARPA's Special Projects Office intends to examine the uses of Variable Frequency Microwave systems to accelerate kill of bacterial spores, including anthrax strains. DARPA intends to enter into a sole source contract with Lambda Technologies of Durham, NC, to perform this effort. This effort is a follow-on phase in a multi-phased program that Lamda is currently performing. Lambda is considered uniquely qualified to do this work because of their previous research under this program, as well as their unique proprietary knowledge to kill pathogens using variable frequency microwave systems. This Notice is intended for informational purposes only; it is not a Request for Proposals. However, interested parties should contact Lambda Technologies for subcontracting opportunities.
