AC Overlay Slurry Seal Treatments FY25-26

The County of San Diego Department of Public Works is establishing appropriations to advertise and award multiple construction contracts for asphalt concrete overlay and slurry seal treatments for fiscal year 2025-26. The scope of work involves road resurfacing and maintenance activities on County-maintained, city-maintained, and PRD Zone roads across multiple locations throughout the county to ensure existing right-of-way facilities continue to function as designed. This initiative also includes the approval of revenue agreements. The project was approved by the County of San Diego Board of Supervisors on January 14, 2026. Under NAICS code 237310, the project is exempt from CEQA review per Section 15301(c) of the CEQA Guidelines, as the work consists of maintenance on existing public roads with no or negligible expansion of use.
