Transport Canada has a requirement for the compilation of a database of original vehicle dimensions for light-duty vehicles for the 2023 model year, with options to collect the data for three (3) additional one (1) year periods.The Collision Investigations and Research Division of the Multimodal and Road Safety Programs (MRSP) Directorate of Transport Canada maintains a database of original vehicle dimensions, the Canadian Vehicle Specifications (CVS), which are used in the investigation and reconstruction of real-world crashes.
