NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE SOLICITATION ON A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) intends to issue an award on a sole-source basis to EuroMonitor International Ltd, 224 S Michigan Ave, Suite 1500 Chicago IL 60604 for the purchase of unlimited access to market research database content for six product categories (appliances, home and garden, toys and games, apparel/footwear, consumer electronics, and homecare) and other online content concerning the U.S. market for a period of 10 months for CPSC. Other sources with a database of detailed market information were contacted but were either unwilling to provide access to their data to a government regulatory agency or would only provide market data on a piecemeal basis. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, any firm that believes it can supply the service may give written notice to the Contract Specialist via email at ldubroff@cpsc.gov, by 12 PM EST on May 24, 2019. SUPPORTING EVIDENCE MUST BE FURNISHED IN SUFFICIENT DETAIL, to the above listed email address, Attn: Llakim Dubroff, Contract Specialist. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS. Responses will be evaluated: however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Government. If no responses are received, CPSC will proceed with negotiating a sole source award to EuroMonitor International Ltd.
