Full Description

Currently, the evaluation of the performance of existing construction or assessment of the construction quality of new buildings and infrastructure follows qualitative approaches with high uncertainty. Developing digitized quantitative evaluation approaches would provide more accurate data for asset management, reduce the risk of failure, and assess the damage and residual capacity after extreme events in a very short time frame. Creating such tools requires high-technology imaging devices and data processing equipment.
