This RFI seeks industry input on innovative research, development, test, and evaluation (RDT&E) capabilities aligned with AFRL’s Mission Systems, Mission Management, and Mission Design divisions, with a focus on enabling next-generation air-delivered munitions through technologies such as Hardware-in-the-Loop simulation, AI-integrated modeling, digital twins, autonomous weapon systems, and novel computing architectures. The effort spans Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) 1 through 8 and follows the Mission Analysis Driving Technology (MADTech) philosophy, prioritizing mission-centered design over traditional subsystem-focused development.
