AEGIS, SSDS, CEC, C2P and SGS Functional Allocation Industry Day

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) and Program Executive Office Theater Surface Combatant (PEO-TSC) are organizing a Functional Allocation Industry Day aimed at sharing the results of a targeted study on function allocation within Surface Navy platforms. The study addresses interoperability challenges and aims to enhance warfighting capabilities by recommending strategies to streamline and coordinate future PEO-TSC system acquisitions, including those under the PEO-TSC Open Architecture initiative. The focus is on resolving overlapping and conflicting functionalities across critical systems, specifically AEGIS, SSDS, CEC, C2P, and SGS, to ensure a consistent architecture across platforms. This event is scheduled for August 9, 2002, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM at the Northrop Grumman Logicon building in Dahlgren, Virginia. Interested industry participants are encouraged to attend and must submit visit requests in advance via fax or mail to the designated point of contact.
