AI Contract Overview

This contract, solicitation number AG-03R6-S-14-0066, is for Aerial Herbicide Spraying and Seeding IDIQ services for the Lolo National Forest under the Department of Agriculture. The project is categorized under NAICS code 115310 and is managed by the office located in Missoula, Montana. Amendment No. 01 was issued to address a technical discrepancy regarding the Federal Acquisition Regulations requirement for a 15-day notice of proposed contract action. Although the Contracting Officer had evidence of the initial posting, a potential failure in the FBO website upload led the government to extend the advertisement period by an additional 15 calendar days to ensure full compliance. This amendment establishes a new response deadline to accommodate the extended posting window.

Full Description

Amendment No. 01: The Federal Acquisition Regulations require that a notice of proposed contract action be posted to the GPE at least 15 days before issuance of a solicitation. The Contracting Officer has evidence that the required posting was made at least 15 calendar days prior to the solicitaiton issue date. However, at the time the solicitation was uploaded to the FBO website, it appeared that the FBO notice had not been made. The Government has investigated, and cannot determine why the FBO notice that the CO attempted to post (of which there is a record) was not posted. Consequently, out of an abundance of caution, the Government is adding 15 calendar days to the advertisement period to conform as closely as reasonably possible to the FBO posting requirements. See attached Amendment No. 01 for the new response date.
