The contract consists of acquiring a series of aerial photographs on the Lower North Shore and on the north and south shores of the Middle Estuary of the St. Lawrence River in the province of Quebec. The acquisition will be made following previously identified flight lines. The photos acquired will feed the bank of images of the coast of Quebec obtained since 2015 by DFO. They will be used to identify and describe eelgrass beds and increase knowledge of the coastal zone, an important ecosystem for many species in the St. Lawrence. These flights must be made between September and October 8, 2023 to match the eelgrass growing season. This document contains all the information necessary to understand the requirements related to the contract.
