The Naval Air Systems Command intends to place a sole-source cost plus fixed fee order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-10-G-0006 with Raytheon Company of El Segundo, California 90245 for the procurement of Special Test Equipment Software updates and process updates to provide the F/A-18E/F/G AN/APG-79 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar Commercial Depot with automated troubleshooting capability to diagnose, repair, and validate repair of the Configuration A and Configuration B variants of the AESA Radar. The projected period of performance is 1 October 2011 through 31 July 2012. Raytheon is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the AESA Radar and is the sole source AESA commercial depot contractor. Raytheon is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary to accomplish this effort. Any interested party must have the knowledge, expertise, facilities, and qualified personnel necessary accomplish this effort within schedule requirements. Any respondent must also submit a Statement of Qualifications to demonstrate respondent's ability to perform to the Government's needs within the required response time.
