The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Sole Source, Fixed Price contract to Spika Design and Manufacturing (CAGE: 4AC84) for the procurement of Quantity 4 H-1Z Maintenance Platform Sets (PN 110346) in support of the H-1 Czech Foreign Military Sales program.



The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action.  Spika Design and Manufacturing is the sole developer, designer and manufacturer of the Maintenance Platform Set and is the only source with the requisite knowledge, technical expertise and data to support the development of this item.  The Government does not have the technical data to obtain this item from an alternate source.

A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
