The Federal Bureau of Prison (FBOP), FMC Carswell, in Fort Worth, Texas seeks supply service to provide replacement of one 55 ton semi-hermetic air cooled chiller with all necessary materials and components for the Visitation/ Muliti-Purpose building. The location for Chiller Supply is FMC Carswell, J Street'Bldg. 3002, Fort Worth, Texas 76127. The building is 14,630 square feet. FMC Carswell anticipates a requirement that is being considered under a small business set-aside program. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code proposed 333415. The Size standard for NAICS is 1,250 employees. The requirement is to purchase a new chiller to be dual circuit semi-hermetic for the Visitation/Multipurpose Building. Condensing Method: Air Cooled Capacity (Tons): 55 CHW Flow (GPM): 98 Water Temp. (Out/In ?): 44/54 Motor (Voltage/Phase): 460/3/60 Ambient Operation between 0 - 115? Refrigerant: 404A (unit shipped with full refrigerant charge) Two refrigerant circuits to allow redundant operation. Heavy Gauge Case, formed galvanized steel base, baked on powder paint. Chiller to be shipped complete from the factory ready for field installation and use. Vibration Isolators - 1 spring, 2 spring or neoprene pad isolators for mounting under unit base rails. Controls: LCD with backlight, color coded keypad, permit operation from 25 to 125?. All controls housed in cabinet with gasket sealed, hinged & latched door. Compressors: Electrical protection for compressors, crankcase heaters shall be provided for extra protection against liquid migration. 5HP Process Pump with Totally Enclosed, Fan Cooled (TEFC) electric motor w/160 GPM @ 30 PSI New chiller shall have 12-month warranty to cover all parts. As stipulated in FAR 15.201, responses to this notice are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The decision to solicit for a contract shall be solely within the Government's discretion. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments.
