Phoenix Rearing Facility is part of a federally appropriated program that aligns with the Congressional Findings in Specialty Crops Competitiveness Act (7 U.S.C. 1621 et seg.) The facility provides sterile insects for the California Nut Industry. In order to run optimally and provide clean air for the employees and insects the 350 air filters of different size and types need to be changed at regular intervals. If this contract is not the working areas will lack hygiene and cleanliness which is crucial for our employees overall health and safety and will negatively impact the facility
