The objective of this contract is to provide Transport Canada (TC) with weekly air cargo freight rates for Canadian trade lanes. The Contractor must provide TC with the right to generate analysis and create reports using the data. Additionally, TC must retain the right to store and use this data in databases and reports in perpetuity. The service provided by the Contractor will support Canada-wide multimodal system performance monitoring which is part of Transport Canada’s Transportation & Economic Analysis'(TEA) mandate. This data will enable TEA to monitor the competitiveness of Canada’s air cargo gateways and supply chains by analyzing the freight rates by origin/destination flows, commodity category and weight classes.
