The Air National Guard is currently in the presolicitation phase for its Guaranteed Remediation and Accelerated Solutions Program (GRASP), with the procurement process temporarily on hold. This pause is due to ongoing research into key aspects unique to the program, such as contractor liability, risk considerations, and insurance issues, which must be thoroughly addressed before moving forward. Consequently, previously announced milestones from the Preproposal Conference held on February 13, 2002, are no longer valid, and a revised schedule will be provided at a later time. Prospective offerors and interested parties will have a chance to review and comment on the draft Request for Proposal (RFP) once it is issued. In the meantime, the public is encouraged to submit any remaining questions or comments from the Preproposal Conference by April 26, 2002, distinguishing between contracting-related and technical/project-specific issues. All input received by this deadline, alongside prior submissions, will be reviewed and responded to by the Air National Guard, with updates made available to the public in the form of conference minutes and attendee lists. Further information about the program and procurement will be shared as it becomes available. The office managing this initiative is located within the Department of Defense at the USA National Guard Readiness Center in Arlington, Virginia.
