Title: Sole Source Acquisition for AIS Single Scan Workstation Solicitation #: F3T3LR5317AW01 The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to NORCOM, INC. AIS Document Control Software Version 10.57 is currently being utilized and is now certified to be updated to Version 11.5 in accordance with AFI 33-210. The software upgrade will allow the document control section to scan and file accountable documents for two SRANs/DODAACs in the same database. The current software only allows for one SRAN/DODAAC. The AIS Document Control System must be a certified automated imaging system authorized to interface with Standard Base Supply System (SBSS). The Version 11.5 software upgrade is intended to be procured through Norcom, Inc. as a sole source acquisition due to Norcom, Inc. having proprietary rights to all AIS software, software maintenance, and specifications for the existing system. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106(b)(1), Soliciting From a Single Source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 5 February 2016 at 3:00 P.M.
