AFN RADIO OMT AUTOMATION SERVICE AND SUPPORT

This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) - This is the Government's notice of intent to issue a sole source award contract to OMT Technologies Incorporated for OMT Radio Automation System Service and Support for 24x7 Phone and Email support to include 24/7 Off Air Emergencies and "Point Release" software updates covering all OMT Technologies Production, On Air, On Air Remote, Log Tools, iMedia Import, Voice Tracking, Logger, iMedia Pix, iMedia Access Server, and Content Management software applications in use at the American Forces Network-Broadcast Center (AFN-BC), Riverside, California. The Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Media Activity (DMA) intends to award a sole source contract under the statutory authority of FAR FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization)'. The DMA intends to issue a sole source contract to OMT Technologies Incorporated, 1717 Dublin Ave Unit 1, Winnipeg(CANADA), MB, R3H 0H2 in an effort entitled AFN Broadcast Center (AFN-BC). The anticipated delivery period will be 30 days after contract award. Anticipated award for a sole source contract to OMT Technologies Incorporated for OMT Radio Automation System Service and Support. The Government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. This notice of intent is NOT a request for proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. The Government reserves the right to cancel the Sole Source Award. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 - Custom Computer Programming Services, and the size standards in millions of dollars $27.5M. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responses received within seven (7) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
