Non-GMP Synthesis of NP-C86 (Cyclic Peptide)
James A. Haley VA Medical Center, 13000 Bruce B. Downs Blvd., Tampa, Florida 33612, intends to solicit sole source to Curia Global Inc., for the NPC86 which is a new drug designed to alleviate metabolic diseases such as T2D and neurodegenerative diseases. The chemistry to synthesize the drug is highly specialized and uses the solid state synthesis method. The target is to synthesize 2 grams of NPC86 which is acyclic peptide.
Curia will use Solid Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS) for this peptide, initiating the synthesis on Rink amide resin. This approach will yield an amide functionality at the C-terminal upon cleavage. The target specification for the final compound is 95% purity by HPLC (area%, non-validated).
Period of performance is 8/17/2026 to 8/16/2027. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541715, Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology).
