The AESO is seeking engineering services for customer access studies and project engineering from one or more service providers for a period of three (3) years. These services include, but are not limited to: (a) providing customer access study technical support for Stage 1 and 2 of the AESO’s Cluster 3 projects for six cluster regions (NE, NW, Edmonton, Central, SE and SW and Calgary); (b) reviewing, validating, and correcting Project Data Update Package (“PDUP”) model submissions that the AESO receives from market participants; (c) revising and developing Functional Specifications (“FS”) for connection projects as directed by the AESO; (d) providing technical expertise and resources to the AESO related to the topics of protection & control, revenue metering, transmission lines and substations; and (e) providing technical support to the AESO throughout its evaluation of technical studies associated with connection projects
