Albuquerque School of Excellence (ASE) is seeking proposals for Switches and Firewall. The school has a server and network infrastructure which provides network and data services. There are two buildings at the school. The school has three distribution frames one in the secondary school building and two in the elementary school building which provide network services to the school. Provided below are the devices within the schools network which will require replacement.

The new network switches must be Power over Ethernet (POE) with 48 ports. The Fortinet 148E-POE switches will not be replaced. Configuration of the new switches and firewall will be the same as the existing switches and firewall. We currently have a 10 Gigabit network and prefer it to remain the same. The school will consider a network infrastructure with better speed if cost is acceptable. The vendor has the option of submitting more than one proposal with different speeds.
All bid responses should be sent to the IT contact listed on the scope of work as well as to erateconsulting@solixinc.com by way of email only by the deadline listed above this document. Any proposals submitted after the deadline will not be considered and discarded. Although not a mandatory requirement, service providers should indicate if they are willing to invoice USAC directly, providing the school with the applicable discounts on their monthly billing. The email subject of your response should be titled with the school name and Form 470 # for which you are bidding; responses without this subject will not be considered. Bidders should provide all taxes and surcharges in the pricing.
