Alpha Cheetah XD optical network monitoring software

Notice of Intent Defense Information Systems Agency, Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Software Section (DITCO/PL8321), 2300 East Drive, Building 3600, Scott AFB, IL 62225, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with Alpha Technologies, 381 Mansfield Ave, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15220, for the acquisition of Alpha Cheetah XD optical network monitoring software. The period of performance for this software and support requirement is September 29, 2018, through September 18, 2019. The applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 517919, All Other Telecommunications, with a size standard of $32.5 million. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform within 5 days of this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources will be considered for evaluating the determination to issue a sole source purchase order. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
