Full Description

LGR-PWFS 2 Licenses: Annual Lasergene Service Plan for Windows - Full Suite. Includes 1 year of software updates, upgrades and technical support. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, intends to award a sole source purchase order to the current provider, DNASTAR, for an annual subscription to their Lasergene software. EPA?s Office of Research and Development currently has a network license and two (2) individual licenses to use the Lasergene service. This service provides support for Windows software and any new upgrades that come out during the agreement period. It has been determined that this acquisition be awarded sole source because DNASTAR is the only company that can support this software or supply this service. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the requirement is (541513). EPA has only one known source for this procurement that is in the Government?s best interest. No solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ) is available for this procurement. Nevertheless, any firm or individual that believes it is capable of meeting the EPA requirements described herein may submit a capabilities statement; which, if received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this announcement, will be considered. Responses to this posting must be submitted via e-mail, no phone calls will be accepted. A determination not to compete the described purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Federal Government.
