Full Description

The Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source contract to Pinnacle Towers, LLC for continued non-repetitive antenna space use for approximately 115 locations throughout the United States. The contract will be for a base period of one (1) year plus four (4) one-year option periods. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and be received by the archive date of this notice, effective June 6, 2013. Point of contact is Rebecca Stegall, email contact@example.gov. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Pinnacle Towers, LLC. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), other than full and open competition is authorized in the case of a follow-on contract based on highly specialized equipment when a competition would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agencies requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Feb 2012) Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items and 52.212-5 (Jan 2013) Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 531120, Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings (except Miniwarehouses). The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotation. A Request of Quotation (RFQ) is not available.
