Full Description

The U.S. Maritime Administration, Suisun Bay Reserve Fleet (SBRF), has the requirement for a new, spare, hydraulic cylinder accumulator for the telescopic boom on their Appleton Marine Crane, Model No. FB190-80-40. The hydraulic cylinder accumulator will be shipped to the SBRF located at 2595 Lake Herman Road, Benicia, CA, 94510. The statutory authority for this non-competitive acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. A SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE POSTED The Government intends to proceed with this sole source action. The NAICS code is 333995 Fluid Power Cylinder and Actuator Manufacturing. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 750 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government by submitting a quote to the purchasing agent before the notice end date. If no affirmative written responses are received by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on 21 June 2019, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government.
