Approval of Option to Extend Lease Agreement with Town & Country Investments, L.P., for Operation of the Library at 3240 Hamner Avenue, Norco

The County of Riverside is exercising the first of two options to extend a five-year lease agreement with Town & Country Investments, L.P. for the operation of a library facility. The leased space consists of 10,430 square feet located at 3240 Hamner Avenue, Suite 101B, Norco, California, and is utilized by the Riverside County Library System to support the surrounding community. This action follows an original agreement established on June 7, 2016, and a subsequent amendment on January 31, 2017, which adjusted the square footage and tenant improvement scope. The project is identified under solicitation number FM042490000800 and is managed by the Riverside County Facilities Management office. Because the extension involves an existing facility with no expansion of facilities or change in land use, it has been determined exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301, Class I, and Section 15061(b)(3).
