This is a notice of intent to sole source. The Portland District intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price service contract to the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation, 401 Fort Rd, P.O. Box 151,Toppenish, WA 98948-0151 in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) - Only one source. Service: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (CENWP) and Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) (the Agencies) are jointly responsible for compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA) under the terms of the 2009 Systemwide Programmatic Agreement (SWPA) for management of Historic Properties affected by operation and maintenance of the Federal Columbia River Power System (FCRPS). The FCRPS Cultural Resource Program works closely with interested and affected Tribes, State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and other Agencies for cultural resource management in compliance with Section 106 of the NHPA. The objective of this contract is to finalize a National Parks Service Form 10-900 (National Register of Historic Places Registration form) and site record assessment update for an impacted rock art site in Klickitat County, Washington. This acquisition is for the contribution of traditional knowledge and input from the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation. The Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation has unique knowledge for the site as it is considered a cultural property of the Yakama Nation. A prospective contractor must be authorized to represent and speak on behalf of the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation. The Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation is the only known contractor able to represent the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation.
