Architect-Engineer (A&E) firms are required to submit a current SF254 form annually to the Architect-Engineer Contract Administration Support System (ACASS), which is utilized by various Department of Defense construction agents and some non-Defense federal agencies for source selection purposes. ACASS maintains records of past performance, SF254 data, and DOD award information, and uses these details to help identify firms qualified for non-competitive contract awards. All SF254 submissions must be signed and sent to the Contractor Appraisal Information Center, Portland District of the Army Corps of Engineers. Firms not yet registered with ACASS can obtain an ACASS number by submitting a completed and signed SF254 to the same address. This contract notice, issued by the Department of Defense office W071 Endist Portland, emphasizes the importance of keeping SF254 forms current within the ACASS system. The system plays a critical role in federal contract administration, ensuring transparency and qualification verification during procurement. For questions or more information, firms are encouraged to contact the ACASS Team directly via the provided phone number. The solicitation was posted on May 8, 2003, and while some specific contract details such as set-aside status or NAICS code are not listed, the notice underscores the procedural requirements and contact points essential for compliance.
