Architectural and Laboratory Casework, Equipment, and Services (RFP -1238905)

The University of Virginia is seeking qualified firms to provide architectural and laboratory casework, equipment, and services on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes the fabrication, delivery, installation, refurbishment, and relocation of laboratory casework, fume hoods, commercial and institutional casework, and custom millwork. Selected firms must adhere to SEFA and AWI standards, with fume hoods requiring field-testing per ASHRAE standards. The resulting agreement is expected to have an initial term of three years, with potential renewal options for up to seven additional years. Proposals must be submitted through the UVA public posting portal by October 22, 2026. Evaluation is based on overall value, with weighted criteria including overall capability and value-added services (35%), experience and efficacy (20%), financial proposal (20%), quality of proposal (15%), and small business status (10%). The University may award the contract to a single firm or multiple firms.
