The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) in Portsmouth, Virginia is seeking Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) asbestos analysis.  Please thoroughly read the Statement of Work (SOW) in the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) number N4215826QE061 regarding CLIN 0001 (PCM) and CLIN 0002 (TEM).  The contractor will receive samples from a representative of NNSY just outside of the facility in an agreed upon area.  Sample results are expected within certain time frames.  TEM analysis samples are considred more urgent and will become a priority if needed.  The price offer per unit for each CLIN shall be comprehensive of all vendor costs.  Attachment 1 Technical Capability Statement must include check boxes for each item, and it must be signed and dated at the end of the document.  Attachment Request for Quote number N4215826QE061 must be filled in to include price, signature, date, and other applicable portions.  Incomplete forms will keep the contract offer from being considered.  This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside Procurement (FAR 19.5).
