Assistive Technology Act National Activities Data Analysis and Reporting Assistance

The Department of Health and Human Services, through the Administration for Community Living, is seeking a cooperative agreement to provide data analysis and reporting assistance to support the nationwide implementation of the Assistive Technology Act of 1998, as amended. This effort aims to enhance the capacity of state entities authorized under Section 4 of the Act to submit accurate State Plans for Assistive Technology and Annual Performance Reports. The selected recipient will deliver training and technical assistance to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and transparency of state assistive technology programs, with the ultimate goal of increasing access to and acquisition of assistive devices and services for individuals with disabilities across all life stages. The recipient will be expected to strengthen national data collection, reporting, and operational performance standards to ensure compliance and public accountability. The recipient may award sub-grants or subcontracts to support the required activities but must clearly outline in their proposal how they will collaborate with and oversee these partners to ensure full alignment with the program’s objectives and federal requirements. All activities must adhere to the provisions of Section 6(b) of the AT Act and contribute directly to the improved administration and outcomes of state-level assistive technology initiatives.
