Athletic Facilities Modernization – Phase 1

The Gavilan Joint Community College District is soliciting proposals for Athletic Facilities Modernization – Phase 1 under solicitation number 20260804025 and bid number GC26-001, with a submission deadline of August 27, 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time. Proposers must submit a notarized Noncollusion Declaration, a written Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP) compliant with California Labor Code §6401.7, a Skilled and Trained Workforce compliance plan, background check and drug-free workplace policies, and a separately sealed Confidential Financial Statement. Key personnel—including the General Contractor Executive in Charge, Project Manager, Superintendent, and lead architects and engineers—must be identified with detailed resumes and verifiable references, and their roles are binding upon award with substitutions subject to District approval. Organizational conflicts of interest are strictly prohibited, banning participation by any entity that has previously served as a District consultant, and limiting each legal entity to one submission regardless of office location. The District retains complete discretion to reject any proposal, waive minor irregularities, or award based on best interest, and all submissions must be uploaded electronically via the PlanetBids portal with no physical or email submissions permitted.
