B-52 Seat Cushions

This is a special notice, not a request for either a quote, proposal, or an invitation for bid. The intent of this notice is to obtain industry comments and knowledge only for the purpose of assessing the availability of qualified sources. The 5th Contracting Squadron, Minot AFB ND is seeking sources for B-52 Ejection Seat Cushions. The NAICS code is 336413 Other Aircraft Parts and Auxiliary Equipment Manufacturing. This procurement is set aside for small business. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The contractor would be responsible for providing 10 B-52 replacement ejection seat bottom cushions with fabric and wool, (per Safe to Fly Recomendations) part number 3008821-049 or equal. Small business offerors having the capability necessary to supply the stated requirement are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought including commercial market information and company information via e-mail or facsimile (701-723-2895) to Alesha Williams at alesha.williams@us.af.mil no later than 4:30 pm CDT 28 August 2012.
