Under the authority of FAR 13.5, the U.S. Army, REDCOM, AC, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the Joint Program Executive Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD), Joint Project Manager, Individual Protection (JPM-IP) Stafford, VA intends to negotiate and award a purchase order to Hazmat Science Applications (HSA), 4525 Highway 14, Building 1B, Santa Fe, NM 87508-9602. HSA will provide testing and evaluation services relative to doffing of contaminated protective garments. HSA has successfully provided contaminated doffing testing and evaluation services to the Government in the past. HSAs services incorporate proprietary techniques that the Government will utilize for the instant requirement. As such, the purchase order is being awarded to HSA on a sole-source basis.
