Question 5: Does the scope require the contractor to move desks, office furniture, equipment, or personal items before cleaning the carpeted areas? If so, please identify the expected extent of furniture moving.
Government Response: The contractor is responsible for moving and resetting light furniture necessary to perform the cleaning. This includes items such as rolling office chairs, small tables, and trash receptacles. The moving of heavy furniture, including but not limited to desks, modular workstations, filing cabinets, conference tables, and safes, is explicitly excluded from the scope of work.
